Maven Installation on Windows

Step 1 : 

 Download Maven from  

http://psg.mtu.edu/pub/apache/maven/maven-3/3.0.5/binaries/apache-maven-3.0.5-bin.zip

Copy into C: or D : Drive and  extract it . 

like

C:\apache-maven-3.0.5

Step 2 : 

 Required Software

•   JDK 6 or JDK 7
• 2Windows 7
• 3 Apache Maven 3.0.5

Step 3:  

   Install JDK and set JAVA_HOME to system variable of environment variable.

  And also Set Path variable of System variable.

 

Step 4:

   Add new MAVEN_HOME to System variable  of Environment variable 

 

And finally update Pate Variable of System Variable 

 Step 5: 

For verify  setup is correct or not. 

Go to Windows 7 Run -> cmd.exe  (Right Click and Run as Administrator )

Go to command prompt , type Command mvn –version  , it will show screen as below screen shot

Means Your Apache Maven Successfully installed on your machine.
